For the longest time I just could not believe

Trust was not easy when everyone continued to leave

Anger burned so deeply within,

So I gravitated closer towards my favourite sins

I was blinded by things in vain

So until I could see, I was led down the road of pain

I was so impatient, so I could not wait for you to say it was time

but with love you help with patience and show us the correct path to go the second time

Best of all you give us second chances and believe in us all

Although I wonder, for some, why so young for them you call

Like it is said in your word, everything happens for a reason

and your love is strong enough to last every season

Never before have I felt a power so strong

That makes me want to get up and dance and praise you in song

Why did I let so much time go by rejecting the knocking at my door

When I needed your love so much more

Father above, how great is your glorious love?

No words could ever describe

I have missed out my whole life

I am so greatful that you give second chances

So here I stand and ask for your forgiveness with all my heart

and I put my heart in your hands and I say...

Help me to know when the right time is...

but until then my heart belongs to you

and i'll forever worship you
