I don’t know where you come off thinking that I will just run back into your open arms

That the past few months and the distance hasn't done us any harm

but I have one thing to say to you now,

You were so wrong



I packed up my things,

and put away our old baggage,

You think I would come to you again as if I were that desperate

Well you were wrong to think that I still needed you anyway



There are no chains attaching us to one another

So who says that I have to stay

Once you said you'd understand if I chose to leave

So why now are you making it so hard for me



I don't want that life anymore

Its too hard so I closed and locked that door

We loved too long without the truth being said

and now the fire we once had is burnt out and dead
