Pain,
it will pass in a couple days
At least that is what they always say
But in reality it never does,
but if only it would
Pain,
It is just a phase,
That is what they tell me
Just let go and soon it will all be over
But it never is,
It just keeps moving on
Pain,
They say they know what I am going through
and that makes me angry
because how would they know lest they walked in my shoes
Pain,
They say it is something we all go through
and I know that that is true
but not everyone goes through pain the way I do
Pain,
It is the only thing I know now
It is like there is nothing else
They say it will pass one day
But I am afraid for me it won't work that way
Because lately all I know is
