and the aching in my soul

Do you not see what you have done

Nothing can heal a heart with holes

and all the damage you have caused

Can you not feel what I feel

A rip to my heart that nothing can ever repair



I will try to forget all about you

and all the love that we once shared

It is hard enough to know that I cannot have you

So why pretend like you ever really cared

Everything you told me was a lie

Nothing that I could believe as true

So why did I ever give you a try



I will try to forget all about you

The only one I ever truly loved

I gave you everything I could

However I guess my love just was never enough
