I let you in so carelessly

I was just on the rebound

Who knew I would be able to love you so deeply

I never imagine that you would be the one I would be so lucky to have found



When you were the one for me,

I never thought that I would lose you

I thought you were meant to stay

So how could you ever leave



But you did leave and the pain does not easily erase

I feel like I am a stranger roaming a brand new place

Rain falls on the window pane

Nothing since  has been the same



Always singing the same old sad songs

You will always be the place where my heart belongs

I never knew a love more true

Than the love that I found within you



I let  you walk in so carelessly

I was not looking for love anymore

My heart fell so fast into this

Who knew that you would be way more than what I was looking for
