Every worse case scenario happened

My worst nightmares came to life

Ever since our loves flames burnt to ashes

and all our former happiness turned to strife

We tried to reignite the falme

but the matches never seemed to work

Ever since the fire died nothing seemed the same

and everything between us just hurt

We had so many plans and dreams together

That are now just words written on a tear filled page

We were such foolish teens

Playing with love as if it were an act on stage

We lived with unrealistic dreams and destines

No use in wasting our breath, they'll never be

Just turn the page, turn the tide

Forget the past and say goodbye

They are just words, that I will erase

from the story of my life

and I will start over at the beginning

and write something with a happy ending
