I have done all I can to fix this mess

and now it is time to say goodbye

Tears never cease to fall, I must confess

I am hurting so much now and just want to die



I thought that I could change this,

oh but I guess that I was wrong

and on nights so dark and lonely, its you I terribly miss

I would give anything to let this go and be strong



Thoughts of you race on forever in my mind

I try to forget about you, but my heart refuses

It knows that anyone better it will never find

but we said goodbye and you said you were finished- no excuses



Must I cry all these tears for you now

You broke my heart in two, you broke my trust

Unintentionally you broke your vow

Leaving my heart shattered in the dust
