Nov. 07 I needed a reason to believe
That God was real, and that he'd never leave
I heard everyones views and beliefs
But could not open my heart because of my grief
I needed something to change,
A sign to show he was real
After love walked back in after my endless prayers
Him being real is what I began to feel
I found light, I found salvation
and hope in this revelation
I opened my eyes to a world
I once thought was cruel
but now I follow Gods rules
All I needed to open up my eyes was an angel
and I found mine in the eyes of the one I love
There is something bigger to believe in
Something better to put our hearts into
and there is a reason to believe
in something bigger than
me and you
