Once a promise I thought I could keep

Now I am not so sure

Maybe you have got yourself in too deep

I don’t want to return the way I am

100 percent away from my best

You say you love me either way

This is not a test

I want to be the best I can be

Not only for me,

but for us.

I will be back soon,

a promise I am doing my best to keep

Sure I am unreliable

and it is hard for me to speak

But I am doing everything I can

To find my way back into your arms
