i'm awakin by the sunshine on my face

i move to where you once laid

the warmth of you still captured in the ruffled sheets

as i hold your pillow

i smell the scent of our passion

as the memory of soft touches

and tight grips fill my mind

the taste of your kiss is on my lips

as i snuggle down in the blankets

an untimely smile comes to my face

as the memory of the night before

crosses my thoughts

i still hear the beating of your heart

in mist of silence

the look of absolute content

i see when i close my eyes

a chill comes over me

as i remember words said

in the heat of the night

is suddenly replaced by warmth

thinking about the point of ravish

as feeling of great want and love surrounds me

i drift off to sleep and hoping never to awaken

if its only a dream
