Beaten down by a love so short.

He said, "It's over,

over for good."

"Tell me why."

"I only dated you,

cuz I felt sorry for you."

"You said you loved me."

"Well I lied."

"How could you?

You promised not to hurt me."

He says nothing.

she's crying.

They sit there for a few minutes,

he gets up and walks away.

Leaving her alone to cry.

She's thinking,

Why did he do that?

I loved him,

I thought he loved me.

Her and her brother,

leave to go home.

She's still crying.

Her brother asks, "What's wrong?"

She tells him.

Her brother says "I want to hurt him."

They get home,

she goes to bed.

Two days later,

they go to a youth meeting.

Her brother talks to boy,

saying, "Why did you hurt my sister?"

He says, "I don't know,

I didn't mean to."

Her brother says, "You shouldn't of done that."

Her brother walks off.

She walks up to him

and says,

"You really hurt me."

He says, "I'm sorry, forgive me."

She says, "I forgive you."

He asks, "Want to get back together?"

She's thinking...

She then says, "yes."

He says, "Yay!"

A few weeks later,

he hurts her again.

After that,

they argue a lot.

After he moved,

they became friends.

She don't get to talk to him much,

and sometimes she still misses him.

She never wants to go out with him again,

cuz what he did to her...

Still hurts.
