There are times when I find
Myself wondering
About how much can come from singularity
A single word can start a fight
A war, a battle, a never-ending strife
It could even end a life
But there’s so much more that one word that it can do
It can make a broken heart brand new
Feed the hungry and heal the sick
But there’s so much more to it
How the wonder of one
Something so small, could start anything at all
One stone let a giant fall
That came from a boy who was oh so small
Who came from a town that nobody thought mattered at all
That boy became king, the great king David he is called
To think that something so small could make a huge difference after all
In history, there are many great things that have started from
Just one word, from just one woman, from just one man
They changed the world, made it grand
But a word isn’t just the only thing
One single drop can start a wave
Can start a flood, can start a storm
Bring life to things that once were dead
It only takes one tiny seed
To make crops as tall as the trees
One smile can bring so much joy
Bring laughter to where it wasn’t before
One touch of the shoulder, One friendly hug
Can show a person that they are loved
One beat can make a song that everyone can sing
It can bring happiness to a heart that is suffering
One stroke of brush can create a masterpiece
One tear can erase a world full of pain
Bring peace and grace to a life again
One dream can lead many to believe
That something impossible can happen and become a possibility
One single step can start a journey
Go places when none has gone before
One second, One moment in time can change a person’s lifetime
Who knew so much can come from a small thing, a singularity
That all of this from just one thing
