Verse 1

All Alone you left me here

Did you care, did you tear up

Did you blink as you drove away

Did you already plan for it to end this way?

CHORUS:

Were you just ready,

For it to be over?

Did I not love you

Was I not exciting?

Did I not turn you on

Like I did before?

What made you so ready

To walk out that door?

Verse 2

You paralyzed me,  part of me

Just the part of me that feels and breathes

How could you just leave me after all these years

You left me lost and numb, with no tears

Bridge of sorts:

I am lost and numb,

No tears to spill

I’ll get over you

I know I will

You must have just needed, to be alone

Cuz the man I loved, could never turn to stone

But you put distance in the car like the distance in your heart

If this is a metaphor, maybe your car would never start

(spoken: maybe you never loved me)
