I'm Now Deaf, Where Once 

Love has opened my eyes .....

but closed my ears,

I seek amongst the stars.......

a whisper, I once heard.

And I've closed my ears, to stop .....

any corruption of your voice,

so it echoes in my heart ........

and rambles pure,

........throughout my mind.

Drifting,.... amidst memories.

Of late night cigarette smoke,

that mingled with the wind,

as I stood and watched a love,

I've now lost.

For now, I'm deaf......

But once

I was blind .
