A Star That Shines for Me....

I passed tonight,

And I saw.

A lighted window, shining .....

like a  star.

Then.....I laughed.

As I knew, 

You'd, snuffed......

that light.

Many, moons..... ago.

Sail..... less

Sailor......... less 

Drifting, the tides.....

Of...... emotion.

I disappeared back,

Into the dark.......

On 

a starless night.
