Trapped in Life and Seeking

Love, perhaps just the truth.

I’ve felt despair. 

And the loneliness, it brings.

I’ve struggled, with life !

Though mostly with love.

For its much more complicated,

Than living, and....harder than, just dying.

I’ve been happy, when life was unassuming.

Being blessed, but never knew.

Dreams versus reality, 

love, and all it’s charms.

It can raise up, or take you down.

To depths bordering euphoria or oblivion.

No longer now.

Not for me, that gentle voice.

That hiss of death.

That ever is..... 

for some but not me.
