Awarded 22 Years, Dismissed... and

Sometimes, 

before death makes, 

his final call.

He pokes, and probes.

Causing aches, and pains.

That drains the soul.

And bits can fall off or die.

Before the body fails.

But he does it slowly.......

To prolong, the agony, and pain.

And yet we all.

Still smile....

And

Soldier on.
