we are saturated
in the Holy Spirit
who wipes away
our dirty conscience
and grants us
forgiveness for our sins.
Being baptized
does not wash away
our exterior imperfections;
it just allows us
to desire the pursuit
of cleanliness while
showing others
our sin-filled blemishes.
