Imperfect People

We must shatter the mirrors that lie,

scratch those lips that utter falsities

and those who try to make us feel like

we cannot rise above our imperfections.

We must look to the One who created us

and the One that purposely gave us all

these unique flaws because He didn’t

want to love a million clones of Himself.

He wanted us all to be individuals,

have our own distinctive thoughts,

specific mannerisms and personalities;

each of us is special in his own right.

If He wanted us all to be like robots,

He wouldn’t have made us all

so different and He definitely

wouldn’t have given us free will.
