Biblical Inspiration The fire of trial is used
to test us,
to temper us
so we can become
more like Him.
Each scorching flame
makes us glow
a little more in His light
so we can be set apart
for His all-consuming glory.
We must be burned
lest we forget
what we’ve overcome and
so our attraction towards sin
can turn to ashes.
