Biblical Inspiration We are His tools~
meant to be used
only for His glory.
We are chisels
in the grip of God's hand
chipping away
at other's pridefulness
and selfish pursuits.
We are hammers
trying to deliver an impact
in the lives of others,
pulling out bitterness
and piercing regret.
We are shears
cutting away others'
arrogance and egotism
with blades devoid
of any hypocrisy.
But we are also sanders,
smoothing others' characters
to be pleasing to God
and loving towards
their fellow man.
We are multi-purpose
but our most vital function is
to bring others to salvation.
