Religiosity

I’m sick of your pretentious show

Serving with that godliness glow

I’m not fooled by your theocracy

For all your acts are hypocrisy

Your worshiping hands are raised

Your lips sing out to Him in praise

But I know all you speak is noise

Your actions driven by selfish ploys

Instead of this religious spectacle

Let your faith exit the tabernacle

Let it fill the streets helping others

True faith is calling us your brothers

Religiosity

I’m sick of your pretentious show
Serving with that godliness glow
I’m not fooled by your theocracy
For all your acts are hypocrisy
Your worshiping hands are raised
Your lips sing out to Him in praise
But I know all you speak is noise
Your actions driven by selfish ploys
Instead of this religious spectacle
Let your faith exit the tabernacle
Let it fill the streets helping others
True faith is calling us your brothers
