I had built myself on
What I thought was
A solid foundation,
But my walls were
So insulated that
No one could hear
My cries for help.
Then you came along,
And you demolished me
Until all that remained
Was the shell of the
Former me.
In my dilapidated state,
You knew that,
Although you had just
Torn me down,
You had all of the
Equipment needed
To rebuild me.
I hope you stick around
To reconstruct me
Even if it means
You have to start
From scratch.
