Damage comes easily

I am ashamed because

I know I let it go too far.

I didn’t stop even though

I know I should have.

Now I am afraid to face

The consequences for

What I have done.  



Healing comes painfully.

I am reassured because

I will get through this.

I will experience this

Feeling sometime soon.

But I hope I will make

Better decisions when

The opportunity arises.
