I remember that night we spent together

And I will never forget anything about that night.  

It was magic.



I remember lying in your arms

With our fingers intertwined.

I didn’t tell you this but

All I could hear was the sound

Of my heart as it raced in anticipation.



I remember how your endless kisses

Left me feeling breathless.

I didn’t tell you this but

That night I felt more loved

Than I ever have before.



I remember how all I wanted to do

Was close my eyes to absorb it all in.

I didn’t tell you this but

I still close my eyes trying to imagine

That was not the last time I would see you.



I remember that night

And how I will never feel your kisses again.

It was tragic.
