I committed the same crimes a second time
Even though I swore that I wouldn’t.
But at least, back then,
It was only a misdemeanor;
This time, it’s a felony.
Back then, I claimed
I was just an innocent bystander;
This time I can willingly admit
I was Heartbreak's accomplice.
Both times I did what I knew was illegal
Somehow thinking the law
Wouldn't catch up with me,
But it always does.
