Just that couch potato

Who lost the remote control

But is too lazy to look for it

So he’d rather watch

The same show he’s seen

A dozen times before

Because he won’t get up

To change...

The channel.

Just got a pounding headache

Or that treatable ailment

But I’d much rather

Ignore the pain or

Dwell in it so others can see

How unfortunate my life is

Because it's too much trouble

To accept...
