I. Lust



Lust is a flame

that consumes you,

a fire that can

never be quenched.



II. Gluttony



Over-indulgence

is an animal instinct

where wasteful desire

cannot be fulfilled.



III. Greed



The love of excess

destroys charitable

intentions and becomes

a trance into materialism.



IV. Sloth



This sin is not laziness

but rather failure to see

one’s blessings and

dwelling in self pity.  



V. Wrath



Anger is not a deadly sin

onto itself; it is deadly

for it leads to violence,

to revenge and held grudges.



VI. Envy



Gluttony and greed

are surpassed by envy,

the desire for the

possessions of another.



VII. Pride



Pride, the worst sin of all,

leads us to question

our inferiority to God and

desire to become Him.
