You looked down

with tears in Your eyes,

rains pouring on

this city that has

forgotten You.



I saw the world

from Your eyes

and felt compassion

for these broken,

empty people.



I realized

we are all going

somewhere at

the end of this life~

heaven or hell.



How can I let

my fellow man

fall into the depths

of hell when I can

lead them to heaven?



Lord, You gave me

Your eyes that I can see

the pain in this world

and show people

that there can be joy.



I learned that in

the midst of confusion,

one can find peace

within themselves

if they look to You.



You have unconditional

love for us that

have rejected You

and so must I show them

they are accepted.



And they can now

You accepted them

into the kingdom

of Your infinite grace

mercy, and hope.
