Eve and Derek go to their lockers.



"Hi, guys," Victoria yells from behind. When Derek turns around, he kisses her. Evelyn, Derek, and Victoria have been friends for about ten years. Just about five months ago, Victoria and Derek started dating. They have tried to find a boyfriend for Evelyn so she does not feel so left out, but nothing has worked out. They never leave out each other because they are too close.



"Eve, I think I found you the perfect guy! He's good looking, has a great sense of humor, and plays football. The only problem is that he is a freshman. His name is-" She is interrupted.



"Daniel Adams" says an unfamiliar voice behind her. She turns around to see a blond-haired, blue-eyed guy with the sweetest smile. She recognized him from middle school, but she had not seen him recently in high school. She smiled at him then at Derek and Victoria in approval.



The bell rings and Daniel says, "I got to go to class. Bye!" Evelyn, Derek, and Victoria walk to their first class science. On the way, Evelyn whispers to Victoria, "Thanks" referring to her choice.
