I’m not ready to give it all to you.

What will you take away?

I always relied on others

For my happiness;

And although I’ve never

Heard your voice as loudly

As I have recently,

I’m not ready.

I am unwilling to heed your call.

I think I have much more to fall

Before I’ll let you pick me up.
