You told me I should appear aloof

That I should paint a distorted picture

While wearing a mask of metaphors.



So I let them read between the lines,

To find meaning within the inferences,

and try to decipher the underlying themes.



My words pervade understanding;

They are a mirage where what's not said

Holds more weight than what's spoken.
