I am not going to lie or hide the fact that your right
Your love was not enough
It was a stark comparison to your promised love
Combined with all the toxic things around us
It was unbearable for me then
But that was then and this is now
We are different and have both changed
What has not changed
Despite of time and space
and seems will never change
is my love for you
I know it's not possible to pick up
right where we left off
and that's fine
I don't expect you to just trust
I'll continue to do the time
and I know it will be well worth it
You built a wall, I'll continue to climb it
This no longer has to be goodbye
It can be a new beginning
We have both been through hell
and put each other through hell
But it's time to grow up and face reality
