If someone had told me

that I could dream

and that true it would be

I would dream



If someone had promised

that I should know

and that, that when I was held

I would know



If someone had made me believe

that I could regain

and that my feelings  retrieve

I would regain



If  someone had said

there was a, u

and that if I prayed

there would be u



If someone had promised

that it would be u

        and that, that when I was held

                 I would be with u



If someone had sworn all this

that I would have

and that, that all this bliss

from u I have



I would have denied

although within I almost believed

and I would have tried

        and, and u appeared?
