I already regret not being there,
I was not there when you were born;
I believe it was neither just nor fair,
But there is no need to feel torn.

The important thing is that I am here,
And never shall part separate ways;
I say right now that my greatest fear
Is losing you after all our happy days.

To be a daddy to you
Is all that I wanted to be;

As I take care of us three;

And how true that we shall see.

Now, I know we have recently met,
But still I want to be there for you;
My schedules for you have been set,
And I see so many things we can do.
