There is a lot of overcast weather in Amsterdam. You get a good amount of mist and drizzle. The Sun plays cat and mouse with occasional guest spots. And yet you still get the most luminous grays in Amsterdam. It often feels like walking thru an impressionist painting. The funky centuries old buildings are off kilter and the sky bleeds into the canals.
Bicycles whiz by
I avoid street cars
finding my way to Dam Rak
ready to stroll along
another day whipping by
