The diet soda cans always came in handy. I used it as varnish to tackle particularly tough gunk on the floor. I would grab a can of Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi and pour it on the floor. Then I would mop up the offending stain. I mean it’s only a single calorie but it still seems risky to actually drink the stuff. The tough, caked on gunk soiling the floor was waiting. It was my job to get it up. It seem whatever the gunk and ossified food and drink, those diet sodas tore it up and cleaned the floor
