Last year around Christmas time, the Sam Adams Brewhouse made an apple honey mead. It was great but shouldn’t they just call it Apple Mead? Isn’t honey mead redundant? If they don’t make it with honey then it ain’t a mead. It’s adding an unnecessary word which is really stupid. You don’t need to say apple honey mead. Apple mead will do just fine. It’s shorter and more concise. I mean you can’t save everybody and if they haven’t read BEOWULF or other Norse and Icelandic mythology they won’t be drinking mead in the first place so why bother condescending to the rest of us?
So repetitive
this pointless redundancy
infects the language
allow foolish men ramble
seem smarter than the real truth
