SQUANDERED SERENDIPITY
It seems like every time I put on an ESPN channel, carrying Olympics or Olympics qualifiers, they are showing a curling match. I’m wondering how exactly this became a sport. I’m not questioning the athleticism or the skill. It just seems bizarre to elevate sweeping a broom to the level of sport. It seems equally bizarre to be sitting here watching the event and I begin to ponder many of the life decisions I have made. I’m sitting around on a Saturday afternoon watching people sweeping with a broom instead of going out and enjoying a beautiful afternoon.
