My buddy’s new girlfriend made a comment that I was a really sweet guy.  This, of course, did not sit too well with me.  This isn’t the type of reputation that I would like.  I can’t being having that kind of baggage hanging over my head.  Misinformation and propaganda can be spread too far and destroy one’s rep.  I can live without an image like that.  I don’t want to be viewed as an extension of anyone’s teddy bear.  Now, I have to go out and find a way to shake that wretched opinion from her head before she spreads it too far.

Maybe I’ll do a whole chapbook of poems in tribute to “Last Tango In Paris” or something really crud like that.  I just know that I have to dissuade this line of thought before things get out of hand.  It’s nice that she thought it was a compliment but it’s the kind of reputation that I really can live without.
