It is within me
the rage to find it
SEARCH
the lights are dimming
the secrets concealed
in the webs of dense vines
the intricate maps
and roadways into jungle
all unsettling
a land undisturbed
by humanity
it’s a sacred beauty
a dream of Eden
we can never find
Yeah, I’m searching
Yeah, I’m digging
I’m going to and thru Hell
to find the oath
the way of the world
holiness of free will
as my eyes open
to the morning
and sunshine radiates
the feverish pitch
all my deities were
slaughtered
by the press
the iron will
of survival
unperturbed by
frantic frustration
why is all question
and no answer
unacceptable
to human survival?
as such I
do not know
what can be done
the lush atmosphere of luxury
is merely a hoax
that we bit into
and now our shame
and embarrassment
is too great
for us to admit
It is and always has been
our ultimate undoing
