I wanna ride

a taxicab

in the Big Apple

I wanna cruise down

Broadway

until I get to the Village

and catch some jazz

shop around town

enjoy a bite or two

but the cab ride

got us there

that’s really just

enough

to get us

to the next stop

cruising around

riding a taxicab

thru Manahatta

getting somewhere

and nowhere

at the same time
