PRISTINE FLOW
There are people
I meet
on occasion
who make me appreciate
the pure genius
of Darwin’s Theory
on natural selection
and I ponder the safety laws
designed to save them
from being eaten by wolves
or cannibalized
by their own incredible stupidity
It goes against nature
and truly we will be damned
by the Cosmos for it;
our interference
in the pristine flow
of universal order
eternity cast
a scornful eye on us
but who’s to notice
the night time drizzles
along these minutes
late night TV
pitching a lull over me
