There are times

when you see some people

do some of the stupidest things

and you’re just like,

“Oh my God!  That’s so stupid.”

It happens all the time

because there’s really

that many really stupid people

waiting around the country

and there’s always

the chance of error—

the honest kind

that happens to smart people

the worst ones are the ones

that happen to you

when you least expect it

and problems abounding

but they manage their way

You go and commit

the really stupidest mistakes

It’ll always happen in public

and usually

in a situation

when you want to impress someone

It’s like waiting for green

after the green light

or asking the obvious question

when the answer is

right in front of you

It just goes to show

that you never can tell

which way is up

and which way is down

You’ll laugh about it

at a later date

but it really sucks

when you stand before the mob

witness to your great failure
