PERSISTENCE OF MEMORY
I can see where
Salvador Dali
might be difficult
for some people to take
surrealism
is not for everyone
but it’s always been
okay in my book
Dali always elicits
strong response
in melting watches
and other such images
I don’t know
if aliens ever contacted him
thru his mustache antenna
but he was all right by me
I think the best ones
were the paintings
where women had extra tits
that’s like every man’s
wildest fantasy
a woman with 3 tits
one on the back
for when you’re dancing
but now I’m drifting
let’s just leave
well enough alone
and say that Dali will
always be all right by me

Extra ones on the male shoulders like lollipops - so that sexism can be equitable. We could knit them little muffs for winter, but Dali would smile. I saw Persistence of Memory at the Chicago Inst. Of Art . I sttod mesmerized for half an hour. Steven's model painting, The blue guitar, is also there. :D
