I hadda go

and watch “Life of Brian”

over the weekend

now I’ll be stuck

humming and singing

for the next 3 weeks

It sticks in my head

as I go to work,

 eat lunch, do my work

I can’t shake the melody

and what’s worse is

I keep visualizing

the guys on the cross

singing the song

as they get crucified

I wish I wrote that scene

but of course I didn’t

and that alone drives

me out of my mind

It’s hard enough to write your own shit

when someone else’s shit

is stuck in your head
