Hang in there, old boy,

they tell me—

she’s playing hard to get.

I see her with the other guy

and I’m being told she

wants to make me jealous.

Seems like a strange strategy:

Why would jealousy work?

I see her with someone else

I assume she wants someone else.

I should just cut my losses

and move on to the next person.
