Kicking back Saturday nite

          under betrayed visions

            of Jefferson and Nietzsche

waiting for the moment of revelation

to strike me through the heart

igniting new flames of passion

Rolling about and getting out

                   of control

don’t know what to say or what to do

not that good, the nightmares

deploy upon the beaches

                of REM

descending like vultures

in their parachutes
