I promise this

At one time

I was trying to

get you to be my girl.

Now I am your friend

and I promise I will be true friend.

I promise you that

when you need someone

to listen to you

I will be there for you.

I will be there

when you need someone

to talk to about something

or really anything.

I promise I will not take sides

unless I think I need to.

At one time I was trying

to get you and

trying to capture your heart.

I promise that if you need a friend

just turn around

and I will be there.

I promise you one thing

I know we have not known

each other that long,

you have change my life

and I hope I done the same for you.

At one time

I was trying to find

the words to get

with you and

instead you got a friend out of it.

I promise you with our friendship

that I will be there for you

as much I can.

Our friendship is forever I promise you this.

I promise when you think

nobody care I do

and I will help you.
