My baptism poem
My baptism poem
As I laid in
this water I washed
away all of
my previous sins.
When I rise
from this water
I will rise
as a follower of
Christ Jesus.
I know that
Jesus died for
our sins on
that cross.
Jesus loves us
and waits for
the day that
you open up
your heart to Him.
I saw the light
and I started
to follow it.
Jesus I will
follow you til
the day you
call me home.
So I will
keep you in my
heart and I know
you will protect
me because You love me.
Jesus I love you.
So in the name of Jesus I am baptized.
